TikTok Cinnamon Rolls (with Heavy Cream!)

These viral TikTok Cinnamon Rolls take cans of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls soaked in heavy whipping cream and topped with melted butter and brown sugar. These are the BEST and easiest cinnamon rolls you will ever make!

Do you ever see a recipe video online and think “I HAVE to make that immediately!” That’s what I thought when I saw a video of TikTok Cinnamon Rolls (on Instagram because that’s how it works if you’re over 30 years old). This recipe takes two cans of Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls and transforms them into the fluffiest and most delicious cinnamon rolls that you will ever make with canned cinnamon rolls!

What’s the trick? First, you add heavy cream to the bottom of the pan. The cream adds a tenderness to the rolls as they soak it up as they bake. The other key is a mixture of butter, brown sugar, and a bit of cream that you pour over the raw rolls. This creates a delicious topping on the rolls and also creates a sauce that you can drizzle over the baked rolls. YUM!

What You’ll Need

  • Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls – I’ve only made these with the Grands. I’m guessing other kinds would still work, but probably won’t be quite as big, fluffy, and delicious!
  • Heavy Whipping Cream
  • Butter
  • Brown Sugar

How to Make The Viral TikTok Cinnamon Rolls

This recipe for the fluffiest and most delicious cinnamon rolls ever is SO easy! To start, pop open the cans of cinnamon rolls. This just might be the most difficult part. Put them in a greased 9×13″ pan and then pour the cream around them. Next, melt together the butter and brown sugar in a pan on the stove. Once they are melted, add 3 tbsp of heavy cream and whisk well to combine.

Pour this mixture over the cinnamon rolls and then bake them in a 350 degree oven for 25-30 minutes. The top should be golden brown and the liquid should be mostly absorbed. There will likely still be some liquid on the bottom once you start plating them, but this is pure GOLD. Be sure to drizzle it over the cinnamon rolls! Frost the cinnamon rolls with the provided frosting and don’t forget the liquid from the pan, too. ENJOY!

This cinnamon roll recipe from TikTok is truly a must make. They taste like homemade cinnamon rolls and they could not be easier to make. I don’t think I’ll ever made cinnamon rolls any other way!

TikTok Cinnamon Rolls Variations

  • Nuts – you can definitely add some chopped walnuts or pecans! Add them to the brown butter/sugar mixture.
  • Vanilla Extract – add some vanilla extract to the butter/sugar mixture for an added vanilla flavor.
  • Cinnamon – add a teaspoon of cinnamon to the butter/sugar mixture for extra cinnamon flavor.

  • 2 cans Pillsbury Grands Cinnamon Rolls
  • 1 cup plus 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Spray a 9×13" baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Place the cinnamon rolls in the baking dish and then pour the whipping cream around them.
  • In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar.
  • Once melted, stir in the additional 3 tbsp of heavy cream and stir until smooth.
  • Pour this mixture over the cinnamon rolls.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. The tops should be golden and most of the liquid should be soaked up. If all of the liquid isn't soaked up, that's normal – just spoon it over the cinnamon rolls after you serve them – it's SO good!
  • Use the frosting provided in the cinnamon rolls to frost the cinnamon rolls.
  • Serve and drizzle with additional liquid from the pan. Enjoy!
