Summer Freezer Meals

Freezer meals can be such a lifesaver for busy weeknights! Every fall, my sister in law and I get together to make a bunch of freezer meals for the fall and winter ahead. Like most freezer meals, there are a lot of soups, casseroles, and comfort food that we make. But what about freezer meals for the summertime? Freezer meals that can be grilled? Well, I've taken a few months to develop and test eight new summer freezer meals for the grill!

All of these summer freezer meal recipes are super easy to whip up and also very easy to cook. I've included the link to all of the recipes, which include instructions on how to make it a freezer meal. It's really so easy. But first, a couple of tips.

Tips for Summer Freeze Meals

First, you'll want some freezer Ziploc bags. You can also use glass containers or Tupperware, if you prefer!

For freezing burgers, I recommend placing them on a plate or baking sheet and freezing them like that before stacking them up in a freezer bag. This makes it so they don't freeze together. I also place a piece of parchment paper that I cut into a square a little bigger than the size of the burger between each burger.

Some vegetables freeze well and some don't. Things like peppers and onions freeze well while vegetables like zucchini and tomatoes are best added after the meal has been thawed.

Be sure to thaw the meals overnight in the refrigerator before grilling them.

That's it - let me know if you have any other questions in the comments below!
