  • Honey – this is in the dip and as a topping.
  • Lemon
  • Salt
  • Red Pepper Flakes – where the honey gets its heat!

This Whipped Feta Dip is perfect as a holiday appetizer!

  1. It can be made in advance.
  2. It takes 10-15 minutes to make – so fast!
  3. Everyone loves a creamy dip!

How to Make Whipped Feta Dip with Hot Honey

As mentioned earlier, this is such an easy dip to make! To start, you’ll need a food processor or a blender. Add all of the ingredients – feta cheese, sour cream, olive oil, lemon juice, lemon zest, honey, and salt – to the food processor or blender and puree. It’s okay if it’s not completely smooth. I find that in my food processor there are still small lumps compared to in my blender it gets completely smooth. Either way is delicious!

To make the hot honey, add the honey and red chili flakes to a small pot and let simmer for 3-4 minutes. This is just to infuse the heat from the chili flakes into the honey.

To serve, transfer the whipped feta into a bowl and then drizzle with the hot honey. Top with chopped chives and some freshly cracked pepper and serve! This feta dip is delicious served with pita chips, toasted crostini, or fresh veggies.
