Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers
Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers are an easy, flavorful turkey burger recipe made with ground turkey, bacon, ranch seasoning, egg, and breadcrumbs, and topped with cheddar cheese! These are perfect for grilling season.
It has taken an incredibly long time, but my kids are FINALLY starting to like burgers. Lars has always been hesitant to eat a ton of meat, I'm guessing as a texture thing, and burgers were one of those things that he just never liked. As a result, whenever we grilled burgers, I would also make hot dogs or brats for the kids. This summer, though, the times that we have grilled burgers, both Lars and Soren have been into them! It started with these Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers and who can blame them? I mean - bacon?! Ranch?! AND Cheese?! What is not to like?
These Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers are so insanely easy to mix up and there is so little work for SO much flavor. No bland burger here! There are only five simple ingredients and they come together super quick.

Ingredients in Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers
- Ground Turkey - 93/7 works best and is what I always use when making turkey burgers.
- Ranch Seasoning Mix - I buy the large container of ranch seasoning from Costco, but it also comes in little packets at the grocery store.
- Bacon
- Egg
- Breadcrumbs
- Buns - I like to use brioche buns but potato buns, whole wheat buns, or any kind of burger buns will work!
How to Make Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers
This recipe is so easy to make and is my favorite way to make turkey burgers.
Cook the bacon. To start, cook the bacon using your favorite method. I prefer baking my bacon to cut down on the greasy mess that comes with cooking it on the stovetop. Once the bacon is cooked, chop it into small pieces.
Make turkey burger mixture. In a large bowl, add the ground turkey, chopped bacon, ranch seasoning, an egg, and breadcrumbs. Combine the whole mixture with a wooden spatula or your hands.
Form into turkey burger patties. Form the mixture into four large patties.
Prep the grill. Next, preheat the grill to medium-high heat and be sure to grease the grill as well. I like to take a paper towel and some olive oil to grease the grill grates prior to turning it on.
Grill. Place the turkey patties onto the grill grates for 4-5 minutes each side, placing a slice of sharp cheddar cheese on top of each burger for the last couple of minutes, so it melts. Serve the turkey burgers on burger buns and enjoy! Note: I also like to brush the burger buns with some olive oil and grill for 1 minute to get them warmed up and a little more grill flavor.
Serve. Top these burgers with your favorite toppings and serve!
What to Serve with Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers
You can serve these tasty burgers with a variety of side dishes. I love making tater tots or fries in the air fryer to serve with burgers, or whipping up a pasta salad, like my Southwestern Pasta Salad or Macaroni Salad. A simple arugula salad or roasted potato salad would also be delicious!
Bacon Ranch Turkey Burgers Variations and Tips
Make ahead. You can make the turkey burger patties ahead of time to make dinnertime even easier! Store the patties in an airtight container, either in a single layer or separated by wax or parchment paper, in the refrigerator.
Use bacon bits. If you're short on time or want to save the step of cooking the bacon, use bacon bits.
Top with caramelized onions. We are big fans of caramelized onions in our house and these turkey ranch burgers are delicious with them on top!
Use beef or chicken. This recipe can also be made with ground beef or ground chicken.
