Ranch Cottage Cheese Dip

Ranch Cottage Cheese Dip is an easy, high-protein dip that everyone will love! This is perfect to prep ahead and have all week for after-school snacks, lunch dipping, or to make for game day and parties.

Our family is a big fan of all things ranch. From my Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing to my Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta, we eat an embarrassing amount of it. I've been seeing all sorts of dips made with cottage cheese (like my Cottage Cheese Taco Dip!) and had to make a ranch version.

This Ranch Cottage Cheese Dip is so tasty and could not be easier to make. It requires only three ingredients, and is seriously packed with protein! Now that school is back, I'll be making this weekly to send with the boys for their daily snack and in Emma's lunch. Oh and for me to snack on throughout the day, of course!

Why You'll Love This Recipe

  • Easy - you simple add ingredients to a food processor, blend, and that's it!
  • Fast - literally done in 2 minutes.
  • Healthy - it is low fat and one serving packs 9 grams of protein in this whipped cottage cheese dip.

Ingredients

Cottage Cheese - I always use whole milk cottage cheese. My favorite brand is Good Culture.

Dried Ranch Seasoning - The Spice House has my absolute favorite Ranch Seasoning Mix, but other brands are easily found at grocery stores.

Plain Greek Yogurt - this adds creaminess to the dip, along with even more protein!

Variations

Different Seasoning Mix - you could use taco mix, onion mix, or Green Goddess blend for a different flavor profile.

Sour Cream - instead of Greek yogurt, you can use sour cream, if that's what you have on hand. You will still get a super creamy texture.

Make Own Ranch Seasoning - if you have a homemade ranch seasoning recipe that you like, feel free to use that! Many have parsley and other fresh herbs, along with onion powder, and garlic powder.

Add Fresh Herbs - you can use the dry ranch dressing mix and then add even more fresh herbs like fresh dill and fresh parsley. I would start with 1-2 tablespoons.

Step by Step Instructions

Photo 1 - add the cottage cheese, Greek yogurt, and ranch mix to a food processor.

Photo 2 - blend until creamy. Season with salt and pepper to taste. That's it! Serve with fresh vegetables, crackers, chips, or any of your favorite dippers, and enjoy!

Expert Tips

Use full-fat cottage cheese - I highly recommend using full-fat cottage cheese, as this will result in the creamiest dip.

Prep Ahead - this is a great dip to prep ahead of time, as it will be even tastier the next day.

Serving Suggestions - this dip is delicious served with carrot sticks, baby carrots, sliced cucumbers, pretzels, cherry tomatoes, radishes, snap peas, broccoli, cauliflower, celery, sliced bell peppers, crackers, pita bread, tortilla chips, potato chips, chicken wings, or bread! You could also use it as a spread on a sandwich or wrap.

Storage - store this cottage cheese ranch dip with cottage cheese in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
