Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing is an easy way to make homemade ranch dressing, but lightened up with Greek yogurt! It is also made with pantry staples like dried herbs, garlic salt, a little bit of mayonnaise, and milk!

Ingredients in Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

Plain Greek Yogurt - I always use plain whole milk Greek yogurt, as I like the consistency much better than fat free Greek yogurt.

Mayonnaise - Using just a couple of tablespoons of mayonnaise will make the Greek Yogurt ranch dip creamier than without. You can omit it, if you want. I've made it with and without and while I like it both ways, my kids like it better with the mayonnaise.

Milk - Just a couple of tablespoons of milk are needed to thin out the ranch dressing a little bit.

Onion Powder

Dried Herbs - I use dried parsley and dried chives. You can definitely use fresh, if you prefer! I just like that dried herbs are always in my pantry and convenient for me.

How to Make Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing

It really is SO, so easy! Simply add the ingredients to a mason jar, put the lid on, and shake it all up until it's all combined. If you don't have a mason jar, no problem! Just put the ingredients in a bowl and whisk them together with a fork.

Greek Yogurt Ranch Dressing FAQ's

How long does it last?

It will last in your refrigerator for about 2 weeks.

Can I use fat free Greek yogurt?

If that's what you prefer, definitely! I like the texture of whole milk Greek yogurt, but that's just my preference.

Can I use fresh herbs?

Absolutely! If you have them, I would definitely use them. Use 1 tablespoon of fresh parsley or fresh chives instead of ½ tsp.

Is this healthier than store-bought?

I'd say yes. While there are some store-bought ranch dressings that are really good and have decent ingredients, I always love making things homemade because I know exactly what go in them. There's no sneaky oils or anything in this homemade ranch dressing!
