Peppermint Patty Brownies
A super easy, four ingredient recipe for Peppermint Patty Brownies! These brownies are super fudgy, made with an incredible brownie mix, and jazzed up with York Peppermint Patties.
Peppermint is my absolute favorite flavor around the holidays. The combination of chocolate and peppermint is just so good - from my Giant Chocolate Peppermint Cookies and Peppermint Christmas Chex Mix to my Peppermint Oreo Ice Cream Cake and York Peppermint Patty Cookies, I just love it all!
After making these brownies twice in three days and having them sampled by multiple people, I am so excited about this recipe! It truly does not taste like a boxed mix brownie recipe and one person declared them the "best brownies" they've ever had.

Variations
Different Candy - you can use other types of candy in the middle instead of York Peppermint Patties. Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, Kit Kats, and Symphony Bars are all delicious.
Different Brownie Mix - while I haven't made these with any other mix than Ghirardelli, I think it would work just fine.
Top with Frosting - If you want to go above and beyond, you can top these with frosting and some chopped up peppermint patties or even candy canes or Christmas sprinkles to make them festive!
Step by Step Instructions
Photo 1. In a large bowl, add the brownie mixes, oil, eggs, and water.
Photo 2. Mix with a spatula until combined.
Photo 3. Add half of the brownie batter to a greased 9x13" baking pan.
Photo 4. Top with the peppermint patties.
Photo 5. Spread remaining brownie batter over the peppermint patties.

Expert Tips
Let Cool Completely - these are going to be super fudgy and almost a little underdone in the middle, so they are best when cooled completely.
Storage - store brownies in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days or in the refrigerator for 4-5 days.
