Air Fryer Salmon Tacos

Air Fryer Salmon Tacos are super easy salmon tacos that are made in the air fryer! This recipe for air fryer salmon makes perfectly cooked salmon and we love it in tacos topped with pickled red onions and lime yogurt crema!

Air Fryer Salmon Tacos

We are big fans of tacos in our family, and I like to switch up the fillings on a regular basis. We do love a classic beef taco, but chicken, tofu, shrimp, and fish are common for us, too! These Air Fryer Salmon Tacos are SO easy to make and are absolutely full of flavor. I have to say, I think the spicy pickled red onions and lime crema are required for these tacos. The crunchy onions and creamy crema complement the salmon perfectly.

How to Make Air Fryer Salmon Tacos

This recipe for salmon tacos in the air fryer is so easy to make! To start, make the spicy pickled red onions. These are technically optional but I love them SO MUCH on these tacos! You can make these early in the day or a day or two in advance, as they require 4 hours in the refrigerator to "quick pickle."

Slice the red onion and jalapeño and place them in a large jar. Then heat up the apple cider vinegar, sugar, water, and salt and pour it over the red onion and jalapeño. Cover and refrigerate for four hours.

Next, prep the lime crema. Simple mix together the plain yogurt and lime juice and season with some salt. Set aside.

To season the salmon, add the olive oil, lime juice, chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, and salt in a bowl and brush over the salmon. Add the salmon to your air fryer. I like to set it on a piece of parchment paper to it's easy to set in the air fryer and remove, and also prevents it from sticking. Cook the salmon at 400 degrees for 10 minutes in your air fryer, or until it flakes easily. The cooking time will slightly vary if you have a thicker filet, but generally I have found that 10 minutes is perfect.

Lastly, assemble the salmon tacos! Flake the salmon and place into the tortillas and top with the pickled red onions, lime crema, and a big handful of cilantro. Enjoy!
