Pumpkin Spice TikTok Cinnamon Rolls

The viral Tik Tok Cinnamon Rolls made with heavy cream with a pumpkin spice twist! This Pumpkin Spice TikTok Cinnamon Roll recipe is so easy and the perfect cozy fall breakfast.

Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls with frosting on top.

My TikTok Cinnamon Rolls are, hands down, the most popular recipe on my site. For good reason, too. They are freaking delicious and so so easy. Basically, they take canned cinnamon rolls (I always use these or these!) and jazz them up with heavy cream, butter, and brown sugar. Because...why not?!

They truly taste like homemade cinnamon rolls and there's a reason they are so popular. Of course I had to make a fall-inspired pumpkin spiced version! These are essentially the same as the original, with some pumpkin spice added to the heavy cream mixture.

Why You'll Love This Recipe

  • Crazy Easy - this recipe is so easy my kids could make it.
  • Pumpkin Spice - who'd doesn't love pumpkin spice during the fall?
  • Crowd Favorite - everyone loves these cinnamon rolls!

Ingredients

Canned Cinnamon Rolls - I always use Grands Cinnamon Rolls, but have heard this recipe also works with regular sized cinnamon rolls, too.

Heavy Cream - this adds moisture to the dough and makes the most tender cinnamon rolls ever.

Pumpkin Pie Spice - two teaspoons are mixed with the heavy cream, giving these cinnamon rolls a delicious pumpkin spice flavor. Check out my Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins for another delicious pumpkin breakfast goodie!

Brown Sugar and Butter - these are melted together and poured over the cinnamon rolls.

Please refer to the recipe card for the complete list of ingredients and quantities.

Variations

Homemade Frosting - I keep it simple with the frosting that comes in the canned cinnamon rolls, but if you want to make homemade frosting, go for it! I think a regular powdered sugar and milk frosting/glaze would be delicious, as would a cream cheese frosting.

Use Individual Spices - if you don't have pumpkin pie spice, you can use 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, ½ teaspoon nutmeg, ¼ teaspoon of ginger, ¼ teaspoon of allspice, and ⅛ teaspoon of cloves.

Half and Half - technically you can use half and half instead of heavy cream. However, I think they are the best when I've used heavy cream.

Add Pumpkin Puree - you could add 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree to the heavy cream mixture if you'd like to get the full pumpkin experience with a little more pumpkin flavor.

Use Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls - Pillsbury makes a limited edition Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Rolls, which you could definitely use in place of Grands Cinnamon Rolls!

Step by Step Instructions

Recipe FAQs

Do pumpkin cinnamon rolls have pumpkin puree in them?

These do not. These are simply pumpkin-spiced cinnamon rolls.

Can I make these gluten-free?

You can use gluten-free canned cinnamon rolls in place of the regular caned cinnamon rolls.

Can I halve this recipe?

Definitely. I've made this with just one can of cinnamon rolls in an 8" baking dish. You might want to cut the cooking time down by 5 minutes.
