No Churn Peach Ice Cream

We are BIG ice cream fans in our household and there's nothing much better or special than a batch of homemade ice cream. We do love using our ice cream maker to churn the ice cream, but I love a good no churn ice cream recipe, too. This No Churn Peach Ice Cream is so easy to make, requiring no ice cream maker, and only four simple ingredients!

This recipe is a perfect use for peach season, when peaches are perfectly ripe and bursting with flavor! We love using Tree Ripe Peaches which we get every year, because they always have so much flavor.

Ingredients in No Churn Peach Ice Cream

  • Fresh Peaches - you'll want to use ripe peaches for this recipe so they add sweetness and flavor to the ice cream.
  • Heavy Whipping Cream - this is what makes the ice cream so creamy!
  • Salt
  • Vanilla Extract - vanilla adds delicious flavor to this peach ice cream.
  • Sweetened Condensed Milk - this recipe replaces the custard base from a typical ice cream recipe and replaces it with the cream and sweetened condensed milk.  Since sweetened condensed milk has the water removed from it, it keeps the ice cream super creamy!

How to Make No Churn Peach Ice Cream

This recipe really is so easy to make and doesn't require any special equipment like an ice cream machine. It is perfect on a hot summer day!

Prep the peaches. To start, cut the peaches in half and remove the pits. Cut the peaches into large chunks and then puree them in a food processor or blender until pureed.

Beat the heavy cream. Next, add the chilled heavy cream to a large mixing bowl along with a pinch of salt and vanilla extract. Beat the mixture with the whisk attachment of a stand mixer or hand mixer on medium-high speed until stiff peaks form. You'll know the peaks are stiff when you take the beater out of the bowl and the cream forms peaks that do not flop over.

Combine. To the whipped cream mixture, add the sweetened condensed milk and pureed peaches, and mix until well combined.

Freeze. Transfer the mixture to a 5-inch loaf pan or baking dish and place in the freezer for at least 4 hours, until frozen.

Once frozen, scoop and enjoy! This no churn peach ice cream is delicious in a bowl, a waffle cone, or a sugar cone. Bonus: sprinkle crushed graham crackers on top of the ice cream for a peach crisp-like dessert!

Storage. Store leftovers in a freezer-safe container.

Peach Ice Cream Variations

While this peach ice cream is delicious as is, there are many things you could add to make it your own!

  • Add diced peaches, for some chunks in the ice cream and more peach flavor.
  • Add pecans for some crunch.
  • Add graham cracker crumbs for an ice cream reminiscent of peach pie or peach crisp.
  • Fold in raspberries for raspberry peach ice cream.
  • Add some caramel sauce for a delicious caramel peach ice cream!
  • Use frozen peaches if you want to make this during the spring, fall, or winter months, when peaches are not in season. Simply thaw before using them.
