No Boil Lemon Parmesan Pasta is a dump and bake recipe where you add uncooked pasta noodles, cream cheese, half and half, broth, lemon zest, Parmesan cheese and garlic to a baking dish, cover, and bake! This creamy cheesy pasta is full of flavor and so delicious!
I absolutely love recipes that streamline steps and involve as little dishes as possible. I’m guessing most of us do! Who likes dishes? Not this girl. I’ve been seeing no-boil pasta recipes for awhile on Instagram, and have been playing around with different variations. This No Boil Lemon Parmesan Pasta is my current favorite and it’s seriously crazy how easy it is to make!
As I’ve mentioned, this pasta recipe is so incredible easy to make. To start, grease a 9×13″ baking dish. Add the cream cheese, uncooked pasta noodles, olive oil, half and half, broth, peas, garlic, lemon zest, and salt and pepper. Basically, you add all of the ingredients! Gently mix it together (the cream cheese won’t mix in until later once its baked) and then cover with foil.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 50 minutes, stirring about 30 minutes in. After 50 minutes, take the foil off, and stir well until everything is combined. The liquid should be mostly absorbed and it will create a super creamy delicious sauce for the pasta. Serve immediately topped with fresh chopped basil.
If you have leftovers of this no boil pasta, you’ll want to follow these instructions for reheating in the microwave. Re-heated pasta can be tough because the creaminess is soaked up by the pasta noodles and it doesn’t stay creamy. To solve this, I reheat it in the microwave and then add a few tablespoons of milk, depending on the portion size, and mix it well. This will ensure the pasta is creamy, just like it was the first time you ate it!
This pasta can be served as a delicious vegetarian main dish or a side dish with some protein. As a main dish, I would serve this dish a side salad and a loaf of bread. If I wanted some sort of meat to serve along this pasta, I have served it with baked salmon, grilled chicken, or sautéed shrimp. All are delicious! This pasta is very versatile so it goes with a lot of different things!
