Apple Cider Bourbon Sangria
Apple Cider Bourbon Sangria is a simple holiday sangria with a splash of bourbon for an extra punch!
It seems fitting to post a cocktail recipe the morning after election day, right?! I mean, I don't even know what the results are yet because I'm writing this while watching election coverage (but #imwithher!) but either way, we're gonna need a drink.
A drink to celebrate. A drink to drown our sorrows. Because after this past year, we could all use a big. fat. drink.
This Apple Cider BOURBON Sangria will absolutely do the trick either way.
While bourbon isn't a typical sangria ingredient, I wanted this sangria to have a little punch to it. Something to make you feel warm and fuzzy. Bourbon does the trick.
But if you're not exactly a bourbon fan, brandy is a great substitute.
Apple Cider Bourbon Sangria
The ingredients in this sangria are super simple.
Apple cider.
White wine.
Bourbon.
La Croix or other sparkling water.
Apples.
Cranberries.
That's it! Mix it all together, let the fruit soak up all that yummy flavor, and serve!
While this apple cider bourbon sangria is a great post-election drink, I think it's an even better holiday drink! I mean, doesn't this just scream Thanksgiving and Christmas?!
Whipping up a big batch of sangria is definitely easier than pouring individual cocktails. In fact, sangria is best when prepped ahead of time because then the fruit gets to soak up all that goodness.
