Ginger Peach Vodka Cocktail
A three ingredient ginger peach vodka cocktail using fresh peaches, ginger beer, and vodka - it's a perfect summer sipper!
When it comes to having a drink or two, I pretty much always choose wine or beer. Cocktails are intimidating to me and it seems like there's always too many ingredients for me to bother with it.
However, when I had some peaches sent to me from a Midwest fruit company, I wanted to try making a drink with some of them. Since I can't really make anything with dairy right now since I'm avoiding it, why not make a cocktail?!
Only Three Ingredients!
Sticking true to my minimalist attitude towards cocktails, this Ginger Peach Vodka Cocktail has only THREE whopping ingredients! First, there's peach puree. Simply peel a ripe peach and puree it in a blender or food processor. If you can't find ripe peaches, you can definitely use frozen peaches or just substitute peach nectar.
Next up: vodka! Use a good kind. We love Prairie Organic Vodka, which is super smooth and Minnesota made. Lastly, ginger beer. Again, pick one that you know has some good ginger flavor. It's such a perfect complementary flavor to the sweet peach!
This peach cocktail was super refreshing on a hot summer day. While peaches are in season, this is definitely a must-make!
