Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ lb ground turkey
  • 1 cup chopped spinach
  • cup breadcrumbs
  • 4 ounces crumbled feta
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian dried herbs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • Buns and favorite burger toppings

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine the ground turkey, chopped spinach, breadcrumbs, crumbled feta, soy sauce, Italian herbs, and salt and mix well to combine.
  • Form into 4 large or 5 medium patties. Set the patties on a plate, cover, and refrigerate for at least 20 minutes, or up to a couple of hours.
  • Heat a grill to medium-high heat and grease well.
  • Cook the patties for 4-5 minutes on each side. They should have nice grill marks on the outside and be cooked through. I like to use a grilling spatula to flatten them out a little once they are on the grill.
  • Serve on buns topped with your favorite burger toppings.
  • Enjoy!

Notes

The key to making turkey burgers that don't stick to the grill is to refrigerate them for at least 20 minutes, so be sure to give yourself enough time for the refrigerating time! Or even better - prep them in the morning or a few hours in advance to make dinnertime even smoother.
