- 2.5-3 lbs sirloin steak cut into bite-sized pieces
- 1 teaspoon steak seasoning
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1 yellow onion sliced
- 1 ounce packet au jus gravy mix
- 1 cup beef broth
- 4 tablespoon butter sliced thinly

Add the steak bites to the slow cooker and toss with steak seasoning, garlic, and onion.
Sprinkle with gravy mix and beef broth and stir well to combine.
Add slices of butter on top of the steak and onion mixture.
Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
For the last 30 minutes, stir in 1 tablespoon of cornstarch that has been dissolved in 2 tablespoons of water.
Serve and enjoy!
Sear the Steak - if you want a nice brown appearance on the outside of the steak pieces, you can sear them in some oil on the stovetop. Just don't cook them all of the way through.
Storage - store any leftover steak bites in the refrigerator for 2-3 days.
Don’t overcook - Even though it’s a slow cooker recipe, steak can dry out if cooked too long. Aim for low and slow for 6-7 hours, just until tender.
Cut steak evenly - Uniform pieces (about 1-inch cubes) cook more evenly and stay tender.
