- 2 lbs carrots peeled and sliced into 1" pieces
- ¼ cup brown sugar
- ¼ cup maple syrup
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ⅓ cup unsalted butter cubed
Peel and slice the carrots. I like to cut them at an angle, making them look a little fancier for a holiday side dish.
Place the carrots on the bottom of slow cooker.
Add brown sugar, maple syrup, cinnamon, and salt, and mix well to combine.
Place the cubed butter on top of the carrots.
Place the lid on top of the slow cooker.
Cook on high for 3 hours or low for 6 hours.
Serve and enjoy!
Storage. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
Thicker Glaze - if you'd like the carrots to have a thicker glaze, simply transfer the glaze to a saucepan and simmer for about 5 minutes to thicken it up, OR if your slow cooker has a sauté function, turn that on for the last five minutes to thicken the glaze.
