Turkey Sloppy Joes

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lb ground turkey (I use 93/7)
  • ½ white onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¾ cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoon tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire
  • 2 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
  • Add the onion and ground turkey, and cook until the turkey is browned, breaking it up as it cooks, and the onion is translucent.
  • Add the garlic, and cook 1 more minute.
  • Add the ketchup, tomato paste, brown sugar, Worcestershire, and mustard.
  • Stir well and bring to a simmer.
  • Let cook for 10 minutes.
  • Serve on buns. Enjoy!
