This is the absolute best recipe for Easter Rice Krispie Treats, as they are stuffed with marshmallows, Cadbury eggs, and spring colored sprinkles!

Ingredients

  • 12 cups rice krispies
  • 1 cup salted butter if you use unsalted, add ½ teaspoon of salt
  • 20 ounces mini marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows (for stirring in)
  • 1 ½ cup mini Cadbury eggs
  • sprinkles

Instructions

  • In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  • Add the 20 ounces of mini marshmallows to the butter and cook until melted, stirring constantly.
  • Once melted, stir in the vanilla extract followed by the rice krispies.
  • Gently stir in the additional mini marshmallows and Cadbury eggs.
  • Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13" baking dish.
  • Gently press it down, being careful not to do it too firmly.
  • Let them cool 20-30 minutes before cutting into bars. Enjoy!
