Bacon Cheese Turnovers

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet frozen puff pastry thawed according to package directions
  • 4 slices bacon cooked
  • ½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg white

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Unroll the puff pastry onto a floured surface. Using a rolling pin, roll out the puff pastry.
  • Cut the puff pastry into four squares.
  • Position each square as a diamond and place one piece of bacon down the center of each diamond.
  • Sprinkle with shredded cheese.
  • Place the turnovers on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and brush with egg white.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 16-18 minutes, until golden brown. Serve and enjoy!
