- 2 large sweet potatoes peeled and cut into strips
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ½ teaspoon sea salt
Preheat the air fryer at 375 for 5 minutes.
Prep the sweet potatoes by peeling off the skin (optional) and cutting them into strips.
Toss the sweet potato fries with the olive oil, garlic, paprika, and salt in a large bowl.
Place the fries in the air fryer basket. If it seems overcrowded, do this in two batches.
Cook the fries for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to toss. The fries should be golden and crispy. If they don't seem quite done enough/crispy enough, cook them for 1-5 minutes longer.
Enjoy!
Add some spice. Add ¼ teaspoon of cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes to add some spice to the fries. For a more mild kick, you can add some chili powder (½ tsp) to these fries.
Different oil. No olive oil on hand? You can definitely use avocado oil, canola oil, or vegetable oil with similar results.
Storage. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 2-3 days. They won't be quite as crispy as they are straight from the air fryer but you can crisp them back up in the air fryer for a few minutes.
