Ingredients

  • ¼ cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 red onion, sliced
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced (if making kabobs, cut them into squares)
  • 1 orange bell pepper, sliced (if making kabobs, cut them into squares)

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, and chicken broth, and whisk to combine.
  • Add the steak and veggies to the marinade and the marinate for at least 1 hour. If you are making this into a freezer meal, transfer the entire mixture to a large Ziploc bag and place in the freezer. When ready to cook, remove from the freezer and place in the refrigerator overnight to thaw.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  • Add the steak and veggies to a grill pan. Alternately, you can put them on skewers to make kabobs.
  • Grill for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, or until the veggies are cooked and the steak is done to your likeness.
  • Serve and enjoy!
