Slow Cooker Creamed Corn
An easy and delicious recipe for creamed corn made in the crock pot.

- 32 ounces frozen corn
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon minced onion
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- ¼ cup butter
- ⅔ cup heavy cream
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Place all ingredients in a large slow cooker and give it a little stir.
Cook on high for 2-3 hours, stirring every hour or so. Taste and season with more salt and pepper to taste.
Serve and enjoy!
Top with bacon and green onions or chives. This isn't necessary but definitely adds some fun flavor.
Serve with turkey, chicken, steak, pork tenderloin, or ham. Seriously this side dish is so versatile but it goes really well with a holiday meal!
Stir in some cheese. Make this cheesy creamed corn by stirring in a cup or two of cheddar cheese.
Add some heat! Stir in some diced medium heat green chiles or diced jalapeños for a spicy creamed corn.
Leftovers. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Make ahead. If you really want to save time on the day of, you can add everything to your slow cooker and then just place the slow cooker insert in your fridge covered until you're ready to cook it.
