Slow Cooker Beer Brats
An easy and flavorful way to cook beer brats - in the slow cooker! The tender brats are finished on the grill for a nice char and crusty outside.

- 1 white or yellow onion sliced
- 4 cloves minced garlic
- 5 brats
- 12 ounce beer
- 2 tablespoon butter cut into small pieces
Add the onions and garlic to the slow cooker and top with the brats.
Pour the beer over the brats and onions and then place dollops of butter on top of the sausages.
Cook on low for 6 hours or high for 3-4 hours.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Add the brats to get a char on each side.
Serve on buns topped with your favorite brat toppings and enjoy!
