Pepperoni Pizza Rolls

- 1 refrigerated pizza dough (this recipe can easily be doubled using two pizza doughs!)
- ⅓-1/2 cup pizza sauce
- ½ cup chopped pepperoni
- ½-3/4 cup shredded Italian cheese
- other pizza toppings: mushrooms, diced green bell pepper, Italian sausage, diced onions, black olives, etc.
Garlic Butter:
- 2 tablespoon unsalted butter melted
- ¼ teaspoon dried oregano
- ⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
Unroll the pizza dough.
Spread a thin layer of the pizza sauce on the dough.
Sprinkle with the pepperoni, cheese, and other toppings of choice, being careful not overload it.
Roll the dough along the long side of the rectangle.
Cut the log into half and then cut each half into four rolls.
Lightly grease a cast iron skillet or 8" baking dish and place pizza rolls in the pan.
Combine the melted butter, garlic powder, and oregano in a small bowl and then brush it over the rolls.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-28 minutes. The rolls should be golden brown and baked through.
Serve with pizza sauce.
