Bailey's Brownies

A rich fudge-y brownie topped with a Bailey's buttercream!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped you can also use semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¾ cup cocoa powder
  • ¾ cup all-purpose flour

Bailey's Buttercream

  • ¾ cup unsalted butter at room tempearture
  • 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
  • 4 tablespoon Bailey'ss

Instructions

Brownies

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and chopped chocolate/chocolate chips.
  • Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
  • Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well between each addition.
  • Add the vanilla and salt, mixing well to combine.
  • Stir in the cocoa powder and flour, until combined.
  • Transfer into the prepared baking dish.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely.

Bailey's Buttercream

  • In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the butter until creamy, about 1 minute.
  • Add the powdered sugar ½ cup at a time, mixing until combined.
  • Add the Bailey's, mixing until creamy and combined.
  • Spread over cooled brownies.
  • Cut into squares and enjoy!

Notes

  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in a single layer. They can be stored at both room temperature or in the refrigerator.
