- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 8 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped you can also use semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup cocoa powder
- ¾ cup all-purpose flour
Bailey's Buttercream
- ¾ cup unsalted butter at room tempearture
- 3 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 4 tablespoon Bailey'ss
Brownies
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and spray a 9x13" baking dish with cooking spray.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and chopped chocolate/chocolate chips.
Remove from heat and stir in the sugar.
Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well between each addition.
Add the vanilla and salt, mixing well to combine.
Stir in the cocoa powder and flour, until combined.
Transfer into the prepared baking dish.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
Let cool completely.
Bailey's Buttercream
In a large bowl with an electric mixer, beat the butter until creamy, about 1 minute.
Add the powdered sugar ½ cup at a time, mixing until combined.
Add the Bailey's, mixing until creamy and combined.
Spread over cooled brownies.
Cut into squares and enjoy!
