Sweet and Spicy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
Brussels sprouts tossed in a sweet and spicy sauce, cooked to crispy perfection in the air fryer.
Servings: 4 servings
- 4 cups brussels sprouts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1/2-1 tbsp Sriracha depending on spice tolerance
- 3 cloves garlic minced
- 1/2 tsp salt
- fresh chopped cilantro for serving
Preheat the air fryer to 390 degrees F.
Prep the brussels sprouts by trimming off the ends. If your brussels sprouts are on the larger side, cut them in half. Mine were pretty small so I did not cut them in half.
In a small bowl, whisk together the olive oil, maple syrup, Sriracha, garlic, and salt.
Toss the brussels sprouts in 3 tbsp of the sweet and spicy mixture.
Add the brussels sprouts to the air fryer basket.
Cook for 8 minutes, stir the brussels sprouts with a spatula, and then cook another 7-8 minutes, until crispy.
Toss the brussels sprouts with the remaining sweet and spicy mixture.
Serve topped with cilantro.
