Saltine Toffee is an easy treat made with saltines, butter, brown sugar, chocolate chips, and nuts!

- 40 saltine crackers
- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ¾ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Line a baking sheet with foil, then place saltines in single layer on foil.
Melt butter and sugar in medium pot over medium heat. Boil for 3 minutes. Pour over saltines.
Bake in preheated oven for 5 minutes. Immediately out of oven, evenly sprinkle chocolate chips on top. Let sit for 5 minutes, then spread to smooth with a knife. Sprinkle with nuts.
Let chill in refrigerator for at least 2 hours. Remove from fridge and cut or break into pieces.
