This recipe is more of an idea! You can use your creativity to decide what ingredients go on the charcuterie skewers. In addition to the ingredients listed, other fun ideas are marinated mushrooms, mini pickles, grapes, strawberries, dried apricots, proscuitto, chorizo, Gouda, Havarti, and any other semi-hard cheese that does not crumble easily.
Soft and spreadable cheeses will not work well with charcuterie skewers. In addition, nuts and hard crackers will not go well on a charcuterie skewer as they would simply crumble.
If you'd like to include soft cheese and crackers in your appetizer spread, serve them alongside the skewers.
