Strawberry Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • ½ cup overnight oats
  • ½ cup milk I use unsweetened vanilla almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon flaxseed meal
  • teaspoon vanilla
  • dash of salt
  • 3-4 strawberries mashed*
  • 1 tablespoon honey more or less depending on your preference of sweetness
  • ½ cup yogurt I used strawberry yogurt for more strawberry flavor
  • additional strawberries for topping

Instructions

  • In a mason jar or tupperware, combine all ingredients and stir well to combine.
  • Refrigerate overnight.
  • In the morning stir well and top with additional chopped strawberries.
  • Enjoy!
  • *For the mashed strawberries, just cut them up into chunks and then mash them with the back of a fork to get the juices and flavor into the oats.
