Mint Lemon Limeade

- ½ cup fresh mint leaves
- ⅔ cup water
- ½ cup sugar (⅔ cup if you want it a bit sweeter)
- 1 cup fresh lime juice about 2 lbs limes
- 1 cup fresh lemon juice
- 2 cups water
- ice
- additional mint leaves, for serving
Mint Simple Syrup
In a small saucepan, combine mint leaves, sugar, and water over medium heat.
Cook, stirring frequently, until sugar has dissolved, about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and let cool completely.
Once cool, remove the leaves from the mint simple syrup.
Lemon Limeade
Juice the limes and lemons.
Add ice to a large pitcher and then add lime juice, lemon juice, water, and mint simple syrup. Stir to combine.
Serve with additional mint leaves.
