Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned oats
  • ½ cup ground flaxseed
  • ¼ cup brewers yeast
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup almond butter
  • ½ cup honey
  • 2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, mix together the oats, flaxseed, brewers yeast, cinnamon, and salt.

  • Stir in the vanilla to the almond butter/honey mixture.
  • Add the almond butter mixture to the dry ingredients and stir with a spatula until well combined. Note: you can also do this with an electric mixer with the paddle attachment.
  • Using a 2 tablespoon cookie dough scoop, form into balls and roll together with your hands.
  • Place on a parchment paper lined baking sheet and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
  • Enjoy!
